14) 14. Cane Corso: Massive Power, Low Patience for Chaos
The Cane Corso is a large, powerful guardian breed that can be deeply loyal but also very serious about perceived threats. When stressed, a Cane Corso may become suspicious, territorial, or unwilling to tolerate intrusion. Their size alone makes early training and socialization non-negotiable. They often need owners who can remain calm and consistent, because confusion or rough treatment can increase defensive behavior. A well-raised Corso can be steady and controlled, but one that is under-socialized or mishandled may be much more likely to snap when it feels cornered.
